Changes to Thursday morning Public Swimming Times Term Time Timetable
From 10th September 2009 the pools will not open until 10am due to a new block booking. It is envisaged that after a few weeks the pools will be open from 9.45am but we wish to see how the booking takes shape before confirming this. The booking is for term time only, all year round and is on the following dates in the winter term 2009 November 5th 12th 19th and 26th December 3rd and 10th.
On all other Thursdays the pools will open as normal at 9am. We appologise for any inconvenience caused by this change to our pool timetable.
Changes to Sunday Public Swimming Times
Both Pools will continue as normal to be open 9am – 5pm. However the 5pm – 6pm public session will be subject to change as we now take party bookings for the pools on a Sunday 5 – 6pm. When party bookings occur the pool / pools will not be open to the public 5 pm to 6pm. The leisure centre will advertise in advance when the pool will be closing at 5 pm. We appologise for any inconvenience caused.

Wednesday 28th October 2009 Free Swimming 7am – 7.30 pm
Session times will be for a strict time period of 40 minutes except Dawn dippers and Adult lanes sessions
Main pool Sessions:- Dawn Dippers 7am -9am, 9.00, 9.45, 10.30, 11.15, 12.00 – 1.30
Adult lanes 1.30 2.20pm 3.10pm 4pm 5.00pm 5.45pm 6.30pm
Learner pool sessions:- 9am – 10.30 closed for lessons 10.30 11.15 12.00 12.45
WaterWalkerz in the Small Pool 2.00 – 4.50pm
Come and walk on water without getting wet!!!! (for children aged 5 and over)
Small pool reopens at 5.00pm sessions 5.00 5.45 and 6.30pm
Free Swimming Soft Play (½ hour sessions) 10am – 5pm
Soft Play for all those children aged 0 – 10 All children must be accompanied by an adult on a 1: 4 ratio
Bouncy Castle 1.30pm – 5pm Bouncy castle for all those aged up to 8 years old All children must be accompanied by an adult on a 1: 4 ratio
Pedal Go karts 1 .30 – 5pm (for children aged 5 and over) subject to weather
All Activities are subject to availability and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis

Crash Course Learn to swim Lessons
Monday 26th to Friday 30th October
½ Hour sessions each day for 5 Days
Price £ 17.50 for 5 lessons
Times as Follows: Pre School lessons (Children age 3 / 4 not at school) 9:00 - 9:30 Tadpoles (children age 4 and over at school full time) 9.30 - 10.00, 10.00 - 10.30 & 10.30 - 11.00

Waterwalkerz Special Fun Sessions
October 2009
Saturday 24th October
Wednesday 29th October (Half Term) 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Come and try out for our newest children’s activity The Waterwalkerz Walk on water without getting wet !!!!! During these sessions the small pool will be closed for public use
50 plus Session
50 plus session 2 - 4 pm both pools term time only, in school holidays the session runs
1.30 - 2.30 pm 1/2 main pool only
Only £1.60 per person
Qualified Swimming Teacher on hand to give advice and free tuition term time only and between 2 - 3pm. Please note that the pools will be closed to all those under 50 for this session
Aqua fit
Tuesdays 8.30 - 9.15
Includes a free swim 8.15 - 8.30 & 9.15 - 9.30
Cost: £4.00 a session
A Qualified ASA Aquafit Teacher will take each Session Class suitable for Non Swimmers
Participants must be 16 yrs and over.
Filton Fun Hangar
The play area is for children aged 0 – 9yrs
For a minimum of 1 hour
Supervision 1 adult (age 16+) 4 children maximum. No unaccompanied children allowed
Filton Resident card holders: £1.95 for 1st child & £1.45 for 2nd family child
Public users: £2.77 for 1st child & £2.06 for 2nd family child
