Filton Fun Hangar Children's indoor play area
Availability
Open Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm. Saturday - Sunday 9am - 6pm.
The play area is for children aged 0 - 9yrs. Children must be accompanied at the following ratio: 1 adult (Age 16+) to a maximum of 4 children (no unaccompanied children will be admitted)
Monday - Friday 5 - 6pm and weekends 1pm - 6pm the play area may be
booked for parties.
When the play area is booked for parties it will be closed for public
use. (Please ring on the day to check public opening times)
Costs
Filton Resident cardholders: £1.85 for 1st child & £1.40 for 2nd
Family Child Public Users: £2.70 for 1st child & £2.00 for 2nd Family Child

Baby and Pre School Swimming Session
Games Music and Play with A Qualified ASA Parent and Child Teacher Sessions are on a pay as you go basis on a first come first served basis, as places in the pool are limited Sessions
Mondays 9.30 -10.30am (please note the learner pool is closed 10.30 - 11.30 for school lessons)
Thursdays 10am – 11pm
Fridays 10am - 11am
All sessions are Term Time Only
Costs £3.10 per 1 adult and up to 2 children under 5 years
Swimming Lessons
The centre runs lessons as follows:
Learner pool Lessons
Mums & Babies: 6 months – under 3 Years. Max. 6 parents and child per lesson
Pre School: 3 – 4yrs (not at school). Max. 5 Children, the Teacher is in the water, parents
do not get in.
These lessons run Mon – Friday 11am – 2pm at specified times
Tadpoles
4 yrs and over Learn to swim. Max. 8 children per lesson 2 teachers (1 always in the water)
For all the following classes a new
child will need a swimming assessment.
Assessments can be booked at
reception
Frogs
Those able to swim 5m front & back Max. 8 Children per lesson
Otters
Those able to swim 10m front and back. Final Lesson in the Learner pool (swimming lengths of the pool)
Main Pool Lessons
Penguins Main Pool: Those able to swim the 3 main strokes 10m (shallow water)
Dolphins / Sharks / Pre Club
Good swimmers, lessons in the main pool (deep water)
These lessons run Mon – Friday 4 – 6.30pm and Saturday 8.30am -11am at specified times, please ask for exact times.
We also run 1: 1 Lessons for Adults / Children
Crash Course lessons run In All School Holidays as well as regular lessons, we also run specialist courses in activities like Water Polo and Personal survival.
